More than 550 visitors, children and adults, participated in the big open event "Play, Learn, Adapt" of LIFE-IP AdaptInGR Project, at Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens on Sunday 15/9/2024.
Through 15 educational activities and games, children had the opportunity to discover why the climate is changing and what we do to adapt. How we protect water and soil. How we protect animals that lose their homes. What are green professions. Why we put aside the car to keep the climate from changing. Why our habits have a decisive influence on the climate. How we can take care of water. How we green our cities and how we change them by painting them.
At the same time, at the 1st Project Forum, journalists Katerina Christofilidou, ERT, and Eleonora Orfanidou, Athens 9,84, as well as the Secretary General of Natural Environment & Waters of the Ministry of Environment & Energy, Petros Varelidis discussed with the audience about climate change and fake news.
