The report entitled ‘Analysis of the baseline situation for the adaptation of the Biodiversity and Ecosystems sector to climate change", which is foreseen in the framework of the LIFE-IP AdaptInGR project ‘Boosting the implementation of adaptation policy across Greece’, aims at contributing to the discussion on enhancing the adaptation of biodiversity and ecosystems to climate change, presenting a detailed description of the sector for Greece.
The report includes detailed information in regard to the characteristics of the sector, the expected impact of climate change, and the actions proposed at sectoral level in the Greek National Adaptation Strategy and it also includes details on the organizational structure of the sector. The report also includes a broad critical analysis of the current situation regarding the sector's adaptation to climate change.
