LIFE-IP AdaptInGR national school competition awards
On Wednesday, 30 June 2021 at 18:00 - 20:30 the award ceremony of the 1st LIFE-IP AdaptInGR Νational School Competition "The climate is changing…I’m changing Life!" was held. The ceremony was held online, due to the restrictions caused by the ‘Covid-19’ pandemic outbreak.
The ceremony opened by the Secretary General for Natural Environment & Water of the Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy, Prof. Konstantinos Aravosis, the General Secretariat for Primary, Secondary and Special Education of the Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs Mr. Alexandros Kopsis and the president of ELLET, Mr. Costas Karras.
The awards were presented into 2 categories:
A) Game creation - electronic or board
B) Video creation (visual material)
The work of the evaluation committee, which consisted of members of the LIFE-IP AdaptInGR project, members of the environmental education council of ELLET, and representatives of the Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, was rather difficult, due to the numerous and well approached candidacies.
A total of 10 candidates out of 43, received an award (6 in the category " Game creation - electronic or board" and 4 in the category "Video creation -visual material"). The award ceremony was well attended by several students, teachers and guests.
The project partner Elliniki Etairia Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage (ELLET) has been responsible for running the 1st national school competition.
